Chicken cacciatore is a traditional Italian recipe that uses its ingredients to enhance and flavor white meat.
As with all traditional recipes, chicken cacciatore boasts different versions depending on the region, and often even the family. It’s the classic home recipe that mothers and grandmothers cook according to their family’s version.
It’s a very simple recipe that manages to bring flavor and personality to the white meat of the chicken. You can use a whole chicken cut into pieces or just thighs or drumsticks, as I did.
In short, chicken cacciatore is a truly economical dish to bring to the table, and I’m sure it’ll please everyone! Buon Appetito!
