First time smoking period, and it came out great! I found a fairly neglected weber at a camp i stayed at and pork shoulder was on sale so I figured I would give it a shot. Everyone loved it and I am pleasantly surprised how well it held temp (225-250) for 9 hours.

Nice!. I just recently picked up a kettle from Marketplace, never used, and can’t believe how easy it is to maintain temp.

Looks great OP! I’ve had some of my best pork shoulders come off my old weber. Once you nail the temp control, it’s almost set and forget.

Great job! I have a jumbo Joe and a reqtec bullseye. It is just as easy to hold temps on the Weber as it is the bullseye. Once you get the Weber dialed in anyway. Snake method makes it super easy

Love my WSM and Kettles! I’ve been using them for years. One of my best briskets came out of my performer 22″! I recommend a blend of post oak and apple wood chunks on your next pork butt 🤌
