My banana pepper plant has been producing more than I know what to do with.

Gotta say I’ve never thought about growing peppers out of a tree stump but that’s fucking awesome! I assume it was fairly hollow inside already so you filled it in with dirt?

  2. I have 4 and feel your pain. I give away tons, do lots of sweet pickled peppers to give away as well, and lots of stuffed peppers.

Banana Peppers are very nice pickled, plus it’ll keep them edible for when you want to eat them.

I have the same issue! I planted a banana pepper just because I had the space thinking”I’ll find a way to use them” . That one plant is out producing all my jalapeno and bell pepper plants! Also, no one wants any of them 🫤

An easy and delicious way to use them is to cut them in half and scoop out the seeds and veins and fill each half with your favorite italian sausage. Fill the bottom of a baking dish with your favorite tomato sauce and top the sausage and peper mix with some provolone or mozzarella and bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes. Great side dish, app or you can serve it with pasta

I grow them every year and never can keep up with the output! But still love them!
