Here are the recipe ingredients

Sweet sour pineapple chicken
1lb chicken breast
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
Salt

Red bell pepper
Yellow bell pepper
Onion
Green onion
Pineapple chunk

Sauce
Pineapple juice from 15oz can
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup.ketchup
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

Good morning. So today my daughter and family is coming to visit me with a baby and she requested to eat uh pineapple uh sweet and sour pineapple um chicken. So that’s her favorite. So here you go. So we’re going to the thing that we’re going to need is uh of course we’re going to need chicken probably one pound chicken. And then we’re going to need the yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper, pineapple. We use ketchup. Um we use uh uh the corn starch and also uh brown brown sugars and um vinegar, white vinegar. And to tenderize the chicken, um, we use the, um, not this, uh, we use the baking soda. So, here you go. Um, so that’s for the ingredient of it. So, of course, the first thing I’m going to need to do is to cut the chicken into the cube. So, um, so there you go. I will, uh, cut the chicken. This is uh supposed to be a pound. So I’m hoping this should be enough then. Um so what you just uh just cube it, you know, cube. So So I have a chicken already uh marinate. So I’m going to I mean already cut it. Now I’m going to marinate it. It’s very very simple. Just put the chicken in a bowl and the salt. A lot of salt. Then some finish. A little bit of corn flour. So that’s a corn flour. And then this uh baking soda is uh to tenderize it. So there you go. Just put a little bit as you know you want. I’m going to use my hand. So, and then I can to just kind of mix it well. There you go. Yeah. Okay. So, I have to start washing all the stuff um around. So, uh we’ll be back. So, next we’re just going to chop the um uh red bell pepper just um take it this one out. Just make it like a cube and then make it cube. That’s the best as I could. I say mix it with the I already wash all of this so don’t worry. Okay. Mix it with a yellow bell pepper. The one that we don’t need. Put it to the side. This is very simple. My daughter used to love this when she was younger, but I didn’t know that she love it until she’s older. she told me. So kind of I thought that was one of the laziest meal. Okay, so I have those. So the next is we need to peel onion. The more onion the better. Okay. So, I think going to cube as well. Take the butt out because it never Okay. So there you go. Okay. So now put it to the side. Everything to the side. So green onion for the topping of it later. So, I just cut the butt of it and then chop one more. That’s probably um to go together with the onion. And then this is a I’m cutting a little bit larger. Okay. So um the this is prep uh preparation and I had we have a pineapple later that we’re going to we’re going to take it out the juice. So this is prep for um for pineapp sweet and sour pineapple. Um the chicken we marinated we have to set aside for at least um 30 30 minutes. So that’s that’s that. Um, so we we’re going to wait. So now let’s do the sauce for uh sweet and sour pineapple chicken. So we’re going to drain one 15 oz uh can of pineapple juice. Of course, you’re going to keep it. That’s okay if you don’t get the mods. So, this set aside because you need it to be mixed inside the uh the uh when you’re cooking later for the for the sauce. And then we’re going to need um about 1/4 that’s 14 cup. And I think uh this uh white vinegar, this is white vinegar. So, put that in there. Okay, I think that should be enough. I have more um just that’s just about it. And there’s a little bit of um corn starch just the corn starch. Oh, one more that I forget about um the brown sugar. The brown sugar we’re going to need about actually 2 tbspoon to make it sweet. Also, so I’m going to trying to guess. I always like just guessing. So, this is brown sugar. Just going to add and this but not that. The last one is salt. So, and then you mix it with a corn starch everything. This is probably how they make the sweet and sour. So okay. All right then. So I think all the preparation is is done. Okay. Back to the pineapple sweet and sour pineapple chicken. I always keep forgetting to say sweet and sour because it’s going to be sweet and sour. So, heat up the walk again. So, very easy. And we have the chicken probably marinated already in the salt, uh, corn flour, and the baking soda for the tender riser. So, and we have all the ingredient ready. Bell peppers, onions, green onions, and The sauce that we make, uh, white vinegar, ketchup, uh, pineapple juice, salt, and the brown sugar. And don’t forget the um, pineapple. So, there we go. So, we’re going to put oil in there. Always start with oil. I use olive oil. So for my health, I think a lot of people now using it’s a uh olive oil or avocado oil. A little bit expensive, but oh well. Oh, it’s for me. So I’m putting onion together with the the the back of the green onion. And together with the bell pepper, we’re going to stir fry these three first together. Stuff a little bit longer. until the onion kind of transparent for a few minutes. I would say like I don’t know couple minutes. So you uh fry this until how tender uh that you like. Like if you want it crunchy, this is already done. If you want it a little bit soft, then a little bit longer. And once it’s done, get everything out. [Music] All right. Probably going to need a little bit more oil. And then drop the chicken. I’m going to try the chicken first. Now this this walk is not Oh, what do you call it? It’s just put it in there. Let’s cook the chicken and it’s cooked. That’s enough of oil earlier. to flip this chicken. So let me cook the chicken until it’s cooked and then we’ll be back. So I think the chicken is well cooked now I think and then the next put back all the vegetable that we cook over here some color and then uh remember the much earlier. So put in there with the corn starch to the thickening and pineapple and the green onion. and stir it well. This is uh this chicken’s like a pound, not quite a pound and a half. See how much you get it. How much this is going to be uh eating for five people today. So, there you go. It’s all cooked. and I’ll uh be back when I start serving later. Thank you. [Music]
