Seaview Bar & Grille, the new waterfront eatery on the bay in Longport, quietly opened about a month ago at Seaview Harbor Marina at 301 Somers Point Longport Blvd.
The restaurant is the new establishment at Seaview Harbor Marina after LaBarca Oyster, Crudo and Craft Cocktail Bar closed in June.
Luciano Lamberti’s Sunset Marina & Restaurant previously occupied the space for many years.
Catch Owners Open New Restaurant
The owners of Catch Restaurant & Bar in Longport, brothers Robert Liccio and Joe Tucker, are at the helm at Seaview Bar & Grille.
Joe Tucker told me they have been busy with renovations, including installing a new air conditioning system.
The owners also acquired a liquor license for the establishment.
Seaview Looks to Host Events
The brothers envision Seaview Restaurant & Grille as a popular spot for wedding receptions, banquets, and events.
My friends Kristen and Scott had their wedding in this space several years ago, and the waterfront location is a wonderful backdrop for a reception and wedding photos.
The restaurant is now open Wednesday through Sunday.
Joe Tucker said they will be serving lunch on the weekends and plan to start a 3-6 pm happy hour in September.
Seaview will be open until the end of December and then close from January through March to do more renovations.
The Menu at Seaview Bar & Grille
With a location this close to the water, Seaview Bar & Grille certainly had to have seafood on the menu.
Fish dishes include a seafood stew, tuna poke bowl, a broiled seafood combination, fried shrimp, and salmon Mediterranean.
Other entree choices include filet mignon, lemon chicken, and a burger with smoked bacon and portobello mushrooms.
Several pasta dishes, salads, appetisers, and flatbreads fill out the Seaview’s menu.
