It added that the premises is “adaptable to any shop style” and has potential for cafes, restaurants, boutiques or other retail spaces.

When it opened this summer, Mazaya took over the premises from another business which closed in April, Asian supermarket The House of Soul.

The supermarket had opened in June last year in place of the Sue Ryder charity shop which used to occupy the address.

Mazaya could not be reached for comment.
