    Cooking patties in gravy, that’s just a hamburg steak. Kinda a lost art in western cooking, unless we’re talking about rissoles (big flat meatballs), but still very popular in Japan.

    Gotta drain the grease as your cooking, i usually just hold the burgs with a spatula and drain it in a container that i can throw out

    Edit: if it helps any this is how i cooked em today, cook 6 minutes each side draining when theres no more pan and its just grease, this helps get a good sear on it. Might not be the best way but it works

    Generally you want to drain very fatty beef lol that is a lot of extra unnecessary calories

    flip them add onions, mushrooms, and a corn starch slurry. Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans. All is well.
