    No idea what it is but I’ve seen it before. I’d always just chop that bit off and cook it as usual. Hasn’t killed me yet lol.

    If it doesn’t smell bad, then it’s good!

    More than likely bruising. Trim it off as others have said.

    As far as asking if it’s spoiled? Golden rule: the nose knows. Or if it’s slimy.
