These were super good. The brown butter definitely added more depth to the flavor and also the espresso. It was my first time browning butter on brownies!

They were super duper gooey. I did not even attempt to take them out of the pan or cut into them for a good few hours after they were done, and even then it was difficult. But I love gooey brownies so no complaints here.

Used chopped dark chocolate bars in place of chocolate chips and also added chopped dark chocolate to the top before baking.

    oh wow these sound amazing! i made something similar last weekend but with a swirl of caramel on top instead of extra chocolate. the brown butter really is a game changer, isn’t it? next time i might try adding some toasted pecans for a bit of crunch. gooey brownies are the best, but waiting for them to set is such a test of patience haha. love your idea of using chopped chocolate bars, it probably melts so much better than chips. happy baking!
