If you’ve got 10 minutes, you can make Italy’s favorite pasta. This is spaghetti alap pomodoro. It’s simple, it’s quick, but it’s perfect. And it’s ready by the time the pasta cooks. Drop your spaghetti into boiling salted water and get started on the sauce. Fry off garlic in a basil stem and optionally some Calabrian chilies before adding in your tomatoes. I’m using a high quality can of crushed tomatoes, but because it’s summer, you can use ripe tomatoes, but it’ll take a little bit longer to cook. Remove the basil stem and the garlic before adding in your pasta. Then add in a little bit of pasta water and give everything a nice toss. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan oano or even some mozzarella cheese like I did and lots of fresh basil or even some basil oil. Enjoy and follow for [Music]
