Simple Sardine Pasta
Ingredients:
Pasta (any kind, about 6 oz)
1 can Wild Planet sardines in olive oil
1–2 cloves garlic, sliced
1 shallot, chopped
1 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper
Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions:
Boil pasta in salted water until cooked. Drain and set aside.
Chop garlic and shallot while pasta cooks.
Heat a pan on medium. Add butter and a spoonful of oil from the sardine can.
Cook garlic and shallot in the pan until soft and fragrant.
Add sardines to the pan. Break them up gently and cook for 1–2 minutes.
Add pasta to the pan. Toss everything together.
Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
Done in 15 minutes. Tastes amazing.
