Wandering through the Orlando airport and noticed the industrial wine storage/serving system. Needless to say, this is not your typical airport wine bar. $33 for a generous 3oz pour of ‘21 Tig, which I have been wanting to try but am not willing to commit to a whole bottle. Well worth a visit to Wine Bar George in Terminal C.

Edit, tasting notes: tannin bomb on first sip. Opened nicely after just 30ish minutes of air. The cab sauv seemed to dominate on the palate. Not an experienced taster so will leave it at that!

Considering the other bottles, 250$ for the bottle is a pretty decent price

I go to Orlando a few times a year for work and I always make a stop here! Last time I tried a couple ounces of the Royal Tokaji, so good.

Wine Bar George has its parent location at Disney Springs, list is curated by MS George Miliotes. Typically regarded as one of the best wine bar wine list in the state/country/world by some press. Always a fun stop and see what’s available to taste and to look at some of the vintages available.

Had a 4oz pour at a steakhouse in Seattle – it’s pretty darn good for the price and paired perfectly with my steak. Definitely will pick one up when I get the chance haha

With my per diem I could afford… a 3oz pour.

Honestly, I’d probably do it too.

  7. I hate pricing discrepancies in pours. Cage is 8$ an ounce or 25$ for 3. Then the Pontet is 25 for 1 oz but 50$ for 3oz.

Hey! I just bought this three days ago! Should I drink it now or hold for a few years?

Honestly those are some decent bottle prices.

  10. Good to know! I go to Orlando for work once in a while, so will get it!
