Clockwise from top: Black Krim, German Johnson, Amish Paste, Marglobe (still ripening), Lemon Boy, Indigo Rose, Purple Bumblebee, Matt’s Wild Cherry
Black Krim – love the flavor, great with pepper on toast, in sandwiches, etc. I can see why people say it’s smoky, to me it’s almost like a dash of soy sauce flavor was added minus the salt
German Johnson – beefiest tomatoes I’m
Growing, flavor is solid, good roasted with oil and salt and pepper. Considering planting againAmish Paste – lost a few to ber but most are still growing well. Nice flavor, excellent roasted with oil and salt and pepper. Plan to oven dry and then make tomato pesto with some
Marglobe – on the smaller side. Those are not getting as much sun as the majority of my other tomatoes and the plant is getting attacked by some kind of bug but it’s holding on and growing more fruits. I did not know what to expect from this one. When ripe they are a BEAUTIFUL bright red and what I consider the perfect tomato flavor. We sliced into one even though I was afraid it was unripe based on the firmness and it was PERFECT. Will grow again next year for sure
Lemon Boy. Love him. So do the stink bugs. Still love him
Indigo Rose: some have been almost entirely rose, some half and half. I currently have some on the vine that look like blueberry syrup over the entire fruit. Nice texture. Flavor is maybe a touch more acidic than I prefer. Curious about the ones that are completely dark. Slightly thicker skin. Considering planting again
Purple Bumblebeeeeeee: so good. Similar in flavor to black krim. Love the coloring. Will plant again. One plant that has produced more than my two Indigo Rose plants combined
Matt’s Wild Cherry: the champion of volunteer tomatoes. Our first year in our house (4 summers ago), I planted two. The second year enough plants volunteered to look like Fangorn forest. Last year and this year I have been merciless with them and pulled all but 4 plants. Small, acidic, great for salads and tomato jam (though pretty seedy). I will plant again because they always come back. The easiest to grow.

Fantastic haul!
Forgot to add, zone 6b, I started late but our season usually runs long. Last year I still had a few cherries left in November.
Beautiful! And I appreciate the time you took to setup that pic 🤌🏽
