All right, y’all. We fixing to put this old cobbler together. Just been warmed up. I got some butter in the bottom. The butter makes it better, baby. Okay, we’re going to take some of this blackberries. Dump them in here. I use two cans of this stuff. Cuz I like a lot of mine. Got to get the old cake mix out. Any kind of cheap cake mix. It don’t matter what it is, long as it’s cheap. Used to get this for 50 60 cents. Them days are gone. I’m just sprinkling it all around here. Get it everywhere. Once I get it all in there, I take the old spoon, kind of knock it down a little bit. Halfway level it out. Whole stick of butter, y’all. Right on top of that cake mix. We’re going to dump our charcoals. right there. Right here on the thing. And I think usually I put about nine on the bottom. I think it is nine or 10. These charcoals look a little smaller. So, we’re going to spread them out a little bit. Might be enough. The bottom don’t need as much as the top cuz you cooking cake on the top. Now, this is we’ll fill this one up. All right, y’all. All we got to do now is hurry up and wait. It should take about 20 minutes, 25 minutes. And uh every once in a while, we’re going to come around here. We’re going to turn the pot one way. Turn the lid the other way. What that does, it keeps it cooking evenly. All right, y’all. Y’all know what time it is. See where it is? Way it’s facing. We’re going to make a complete turn. Just like that. That way. I went that way. So, what we’re going to do now, a complete turn. Oh, well, I about messed up. Since I got it open, my go look at it. Huh? Oh, look at there, y’all. Ain’t long, we’re going to be eating on 10 minutes. I’m going knock a few of these off the bottom, but we don’t need no heat on the bottom right now. Probably take a few off the top. Okay, got them around a little bit. Get up on there. Now we’re gonna hurry up and wait. Oh, y’all look at here. I’ve been smelling it. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. It’s going to be so good. Yeah. Look at that. Look at there. Good and crispy. Okay, we got to get us some of this, y’all. Look at there. Good and hot. Yes. I love that cake mix in here. See, the extra butter makes it crispy. Ain’t that pretty? It’s just pretty ain’t it. Y’all got to make some of this. It is good.
