Did you know that you can ask them to pack the donut and filling separately and take that to go? That way when you get home you can put it together yourself and not worry about it getting more soggy on your way home.

This place is right by my kids’ school and it’s like a siren song to not stop there on the way home from dropoff.

we show up and get situated for a fun time. set the donuts on the table. things are going well. and as good old typical desert weather would have it, it started raining and got insanely windy out of nowhere.

it blew the entire box of donuts off onto the sand and dirt. i was devastated bro😔 look at it!! im still healing til this day

Asian American success story, Jim Nakano, a third-generation Japanese American. He and his wife, Miyoko, founded the business in May 1972. He grew up in Boyle Heights and was interned, along with his family, at Poston camp in Arizona during World War II, and later joined the Navy.

Best donut spot in so cal imo. Even the basic round chocolate top donuts are 10/10.

Gonna need those loose fitting clothes if both of those are eaten.

During the early days of COVID, there was no traffic. One of the perks of lockdown! Anyways, I’m in Carson so Glendora is a journey in gridlock. We masked up and hit the freeway for a quick 39 minute trip to the Donut Man a few times. It was great! After restrictions were lifted, traffic resumed. That trip became an hour and a half. We haven’t been back since. 😐

I have fond memories of going there in high school and college. I wish I still lived in the SGV (sometimes lol).

I stick with the lemon or Apple. Call me a cheapskate, but they’re actually half the price of the strawberry and peach.

Looks like a commercial where the guy is holding pounds of visceral fat to show you
