Legado experience

I've just got home from Legado in London (Nieves Barragán's new restaurant) and needed to debrief someone!

The space is beautiful, it's bright, open, the kitchen in view of the dining room. The staff were fantastic, noted that it officially opened on Thursday so everyone is a bit hyper vigilant but still, very attentive, very knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients and wine list.

The food was outstanding… Could be one of the best meals of my life… The ingredients were so fresh and vibrant, the sauces were delicious and coated your pallet wonderfully! My only criticism (which was likely due to what I ordered) is that it was all a bit too rich and in totality a bit fatty. It needed some fresh citrus and vegetables notes to bring it down a notch every so often..

Overall though, it was an incredible experience and would be super surprised to not see it get a star next year!
