I’ve been decorating cookies as a hobby for a few years and just recently decided to try my hand at baking cakes for an organization called Cake4Kids! Working with buttercream has been a humbling experience, so I decided to use cookies as the main decorations. I secured Lilo mortise and tenon style to a horizontal cookie so she could stand in front of the cake, and I baked lollipop sticks into Stitch and the birthday sign so they could sit on top.

Awww what a lovely gift for the recipient, I’m sure it’s going to mean so much for them 😭 have you liked your experience with cakes4kids?? Also is love to hear about your wood grain pattern- did you draw it on top? Or is it wet on wet icing? Maybe air brush?? I’m obsessed!
