I started baking our sandwich bread about almost a year ago and slowly getting more consistent. We cook a loaf about once every week or two. Ive found my favorite additions to the flour is crushed rosemary and sage. My 2 year old daughter loves it too which is a plus! Its an easy recipe too which helps.

I want to get into sourdough at some point too but we’ll see.

Just thought i’d share!

What’s your recipe for your cast iron pan? I really love King Arthur Bakings Classic white bread recipe.

Very nice and much better than any commercially produced bread

    What pan/tin do you use?

What is your cookware? I’m tired of my bread machine cooking my dough

It looks great! Pullman pans are fun! Sometimes, I sprinkle sesame seeds on top during the final rise to serve as ball bearings in case I let it go too long.

Have you ever had it squirt out of the sides of your pan during baking? I did and it was actually tasty. A cross between bread and crackers.

    Happy baking!
