I was shocked to see how little calories this totalled to. I used no oil, lean beef and a TON of veggies.
Served it with a spoon of yoghurt, avocado and generous squeeze of lemon
Full recipe also includes few cups of water and seasoning (salt, paprika, cayenne, oregano)
Great for meal prep, batch cooking

Thick soups/stews are basically a dieting lifehack. Regularly making turkey chili, lean beef stew, navy bean and ham hock soup, dal tadka, etc. Simmering in liquid brings out the true harmony between ingredients in a low effort format and is super filling and comforting.

I love a good soup. So filling, cheap, uses up what’s in your cupboards, easy to cook and comparatively low cal. Beans have a lot of fibre too, which is great.
