This traditional Indian sweet is not only delicious but also a healthy snack rich in protein, iron, and energy. Perfect for winter, festivals like Pongal & Makar Sankranti, or as a quick sweet for kids and adults.
Ingredients:
– 1 cup roasted peanuts
– 1/2 cup jaggery (gur)
– 1 tbsp ghee/sesame oil
Method:
1. Roast peanuts, remove the skin & split them.
2. In a pan, melt jaggery with 2 tbsp water until it reaches the hard-ball stage (drop in water test).
3. Add peanuts, mix quickly & spread on a greased plate.
4. Roll flat & cut into pieces before it hardens.
5. Crispy & tasty Peanut Chikki is ready!
