As summer officially makes way for autumn in Hong Kong, September sees a number of new restaurants opening – from celebrity bartender concepts to cool, casual eateries serving up dishes like beef noodles and lasagna.

1. Nocino
Nocino is celebrating its fourth opening in the city, this time on Hollywood Road in Central.
The local restaurant brand celebrates the rustic, homestyle cuisine of the Ticino region in southern Switzerland – think Alpine peaks, medieval castles and lakes lined with cliffside caves.
Nocino quickly became a favourite after opening its first location in Tai Hang in 2022, with diners drawn to its intimate atmosphere and culinary style.
Some of the most popular dishes include the Wagyu beef tartare, the signature Malakoff fritters, and fresh pasta plates like the beef shin ragu casarecce and the brown crab cacio e pepe spaghettone.
