Mia’s in Cobble Hill has very good cannoli

Fortunato Bros if you’re in Williamsburg, but since you’re visiting for 2 days I’m guessing you’ll mainly be in Manhattan (in which case the other recs in this thread are great)

Veniero’s is a classic, but Cafe Roma in Little Italy is a better cannoli than Ferrara’s. Corner of Broome and Mulberry.

Villabate Alba if you have time to explore Brooklyn

I’m sure this is controversial but avoid anything in Little Italy. It’s become a tourist trap. Quality may still be there but price they’ll absolutely bend you over a barrel

Circo’s Pastry Shop in Bushwick is great

  7. Mike’s really is the gold standard for them. there’s a reason you always see people on flights out of BOS with the Mike’s boxes in hand :).

Haven’t been in a while but Geno’s in Arthur Ave. there are a few up there.

  9. I am a huge Veniero’s fan and have to recommend as first choice – but if you’re going to go to Little Italy, an INSANE non-cannoli option is get a “cheese cone” from Cannoli King on Mulberry & Grand. Absolutely worth the trip

Circo’s in Brooklyn is my favorite and I’ve been on a search for the best cannoli in NYC

Cafe Palermo in little italy is the best, Villa Abate in BK and Roccos in WV too

Modern > Mikes in Boston. Definitely hit that place up next time.

Personally I haven’t had anything here that compares to Mike’s or Modern pastry. There tends to be a weird presence of cinnamon which detracts from it imo

Mike’s are not even the best cannoli. Modern have much better ones

Any time you see cannoli being pre-filled, it’s a huge red flag

Gino’s on Arthur Ave is my favorite.

If you want a great cannolo, Ferrara is a good place. If you find yourself in Williamsburg Fortunato Brothers is also good, your cannolo will be fresher the earlier you come in the day.

Veniero’s is the best cannoli I’ve had in NYC. I didn’t like Rocco’s (been there 2x and got lousy service and wasn’t impressed with the cannoli).

Might not be near where you are but Monteleone in Carroll Gardens.

I love the ones from Sergimmo Salumeria. They fill them fresh for you.
