Started these yesterday morning and barely anything has happened. What’s the point of this melt setting?!

    Sorry to tell ya bud but you gotta alternate manually between melt and off every 5 minutes. It should take about 75 hours give or take 3 minutes

    What’s the deal with these carmelized onions you hear about?! Have you heard of this?

    You coulda put the onions in your pocket and got the same result

    You have it on melt, onions melting point is lower than its caramelizing temp. That’s your issue.

  6. I have ADD and zero patience and I will likely never have truly caramelized onions in my life.

    I throw in a tiny bit of olive oil stick that b**** on medium with a lid and let em get at it.

    And onions are probably my favorite food, maybe someday before I die but 15 to 20 minutes is about my limit with anything stovetop before it’s forgotten forever 🤷🏼‍♀️
