📝 Ingredients (2–3 servings)
• 200 g pasta (penne/spaghetti/fettuccine)
• 250 g boneless chicken breast (cut into strips)
• 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
• 3–4 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
• ½ cup onion (finely chopped, optional)
• ½ cup heavy cream (or fresh cream)
• ¼ cup milk (to adjust consistency)
• 4 tbsp pesto sauce (basil or store-bought)
• 2 tbsp grated parmesan (or processed cheese)
• Salt & black pepper (to taste)
• Chili flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
• Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

👩‍🍳 Method
1. Cook Pasta
• Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
• Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
2. Cook Chicken
• Heat olive oil/butter in a pan.
• Add chicken strips, season with salt & pepper, and cook until golden and done (6–7 mins). Remove & keep aside.
3. Prepare Sauce
• In the same pan, add garlic (and onion if using) → sauté till fragrant.
• Add cream + milk and stir.
• Mix in pesto sauce and parmesan. Cook for 2 minutes.
4. Combine
• Add cooked chicken + pasta into the sauce.
• Toss well, adding little pasta water if needed to make it silky.
• Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
5. Serve
• Garnish with basil leaves & extra cheese.
• Serve hot with garlic bread or salad.
