Simple, cheap, and unbelievably satisfyingβ€”this is gyudon, Japan’s classic comfort food. πŸ‚πŸš
At Yoshinoya, you can crack a fresh raw egg over the beef, letting the yolk melt into the rice for that rich, silky flavor.
It might look unusual if you’re not from Japan, but trust meβ€”it’s absolutely delicious. πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅βœ¨

If you want the ultimate disappointment in your life try Yoshinoya in the US.

Yoshinoya is a weird one to me; their gyudon specifically is good, but many of their non-gyudon options tend to be **ridiculously** greasy.

Contrast with Matsuya, who’s gyudon is alright (not as good as Yoshinoya’s, imho), but their non-gyudon dishes (especially their chicken curry) are excellent.
