I've started learning how to meal prep to help with food costs, being a broke college student while, still trying to be healthy and loose weight. I made BBQ beef and mashed potatoes w/ corn and chicken and rice w/ vegetables.
BBQ Beef and mashed potatoes w/ corn: 466 cals
Chicken and rice w/ mixed veggies: 390 cals
(Unfortunately, no banana for scale)
I made 5 of each and eat 2 a day, rotating between lunch and dinner.
It's my first time meal prepping. Are the portions supposed to be this small? Or is that the American in me talking?
Any suggestions on what to make next and how to keep it filling (even if it is small)?

That does seem small actually. However I noticed your veggie portions are smaller than your portions but to make it more filling and larger definitely add veggies
My meals are also 400 – 550 cals but half of my plate is veggies so it looks like it’s a lot
I’d consider adding some volume, so just add sautéed mushrooms and cabbage with spices or bake some broccoli on the side etc. The fibre would help with the fullness
Also looks a touch dry, so you could cook the chicken down in some passata and spices or add some seasoned yoghurt on top for taste, satiety and a bit of moisture!
This is not a small portion lol
