Ben Van Leeuwen, co-founder of Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, and Marianne Fabre-Lanvin, founder
of sustainable French wine brand Souleil, have joined forces to unveil a limited-edition Souleil
Rosé Sorbet.

Now available at the Van Leeuwen Flavor Lab in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, the sorbet celebrates
friendship, creativity, and the spirit of summer.
The idea first sparked in 2014 at a Bastille Day event in Manhattan. Van Leeuwen was serving
ice cream from a yellow truck. Between scoops, he and Fabre-Lanvin traded flavor sketches and
dreamed of possibilities. More than 10 years later, that spark has become real.

Souleil’s organic
rosé now mingles with Van Leeuwen’s strawberry and raspberry base to create a sorbet as fresh
as it is timeless.
“This is a full-circle moment,” said Fabre-Lanvin. “Ben and I joked about making a rosé ice cream
all those years ago. It was only a dream then, with no shops and no wine label. Just two friends
riffing on flavor and possibility.”

The limited-edition flavor captures the coastal soul of Souleil Vin de Bonté Le Rosé. It is crisp,
fruity, and light. Folded into Van Leeuwen’s base, it becomes refreshing and indulgent. A scoop
made for golden evenings, rooftop toasts, and long summer nights, the company said.
