Apparently my Vertuo next have some problem with gran 150ml/5.07oz lungo pods, tried several different ones and all gran lungo pods final volume is not even a half it should be – firt picture-the blue chart on the kitchtchen measuring cup is in ml, so not even 90ml foam included put of arondio 150ml cup, second one is after the foam fell and poured into 50ml measuring cap, so not even en 50ml in the end.

This kind of a significantly lower output happens only with the gran lungo pods, all other sizes are just fine. I own Vertuo for a year and realised this a few moths ago, it was OK from the beginning I think. Machine cleared & descale & factory reseted, no change.

Did anyone else came over something similar?

Someone accidentally or on purpose, changed the settings on the machine. Best remedy is to reset the machine to factory default. It sounds like you did that, but try again.

When you hold the start button down and keep it down, the machine goes into programming mode. As soon as you let go of the button, the machine thinks you like it that way. Every time you extract the same type of capsule, it will always give you that amount. It only applies to that particular size of capsule. Espresso, Gran Lungo, Long Coffee, or Ristretto.

Reset procedure for your particular machine is in the manual. Also, on the Internet. Some people have mentioned unplugging it a few times.

Another possibility is the bar code reader might be dirty and needs to be cleaned. It’s the translucent ring looking thing around the capsule holder. The reader tells the machine what kind of capsule has been inserted.

Volume errors are not uncommonly the result of a dirty barcode reader window. Can make is misread the intended brewing parameter, one of which is volume. It’s likely doing other things wrong, but volume is the one we notice first. The window is the clear plastic ring mounted around the pod cup, high on some models and low on others. Clean with damp swabs until the swabs come back pretty clean. If the first one comes back pretty dirty, you know you found a potential problem.
