And the most I’ve harvested at one time so far this season. Some plants are doing great and others not so well. Varieties here include Black Krim, brown sugar, chocolate cherry, black cherry, and lemon drop (which is by far the most prolific standing at 7’ tall on my trellis, last photo). Please don’t judge the jungle my tomatoes have become; I’m in my first year of a sometimes debilitating injury so the garden is not as tidy as I like to keep it. Others that have done well are Martino’s Roma but next year I’ll swap those out for an indeterminate Roma variety, Sart Roloise gave a me a few reasonably sized tomatoes, and I got one pink Brandywine of abysmal size. There’s still lots of green ones out there that I’m hoping have time to ripen, and if not I’ll fry ‘em up green!

The biggest tomato is a fasciated (I assume) Berkeley pink tie dye. I know it’s not as big as some of the monsters I’ve seen in this sub but I am excited about it!

Oh and I got two big Paul Robesons which I sacrificed to my craving for fried green tomatoes, and I got one smaller one but lots of green ones on the plant now. The taste was really good so I’m gonna grow those again next year. I tend to prefer the Russian black varieties taste-wise!
