My favorite way to use tinned smoked trout is dip/spread. I mix a tin with a block of softened Neufchatel (or cream cheese), along with lots of seasonings (I like chives and everything seasoning with black pepper). It’s good cold, but I’ve also enjoyed it baked with shredded cheese or buttered panko on top.

I like it better than Coles. Great on triscuits
