The 24 grams I added here is 80 calories, 12 grams of protein, and 4g of fiber, and cost 36 cents.

(Also pictured are some Simple Truth Meatless "Ham" Slices, power greens mix, sweet potato, cabbage, and I added some Bolthouse Ranch as a dressing after).

Also it's worth noting that a lot of "imitation bacon bits" are basically just TVP with bacon flavoring so they have similar macros. A lot of times I'll use them instead since they add crunch and a big punch of flavor, but I decided to go with plain TVP this time since I already had the "ham" and didn't want to overload on salt.

I’ll also add it to greek yogurt for some crunch. I’ve made it into granola before by rehydrating it with a touch of maple syrup and water, vanilla extract, and adding some chopped walnuts, and then drumming it back out in the oven, but honestly just tossed as-is on top of yogurt with berries is 👩🏻‍🍳🤌🏻

    I’m a confused European. What’s TVP?
