Ok, so I just bought all 3 of these sauces per recommendations here and at r/spicy. The tabasco came in first, days ago. Man, this hot sauce pushes me to my limits with the level of heat I can comfortably handle, and I thought my tolerance just wasn't as high as I thought it was. I just tried both of the torchbearers, and I'm very surprised to find out the tabasco scorpion is noticeably hotter than both, and they're definitely more manageable and more flavorful without the heat taking over the flavor.
Edit: Both of the torchbearer sauces are absolutely delicious, especially the garlic one. I know garlic reaper gets a lot of love around here, but the rapture is also amazing. I like the tabasco scorpion, but I just get more heat than flavor with it.

I’ve never tried the torchbearer sauces but I’m surprised the Tabasco is coming across hotter. Not that the scorpion Tabasco doesn’t kick my ass sometimes, I just thought those torchbearer sauces were supposed to be pretty damn hot.
That color does look a little brighter than most bottles of the scorpion I’ve seen, maybe you got a spicy batch.
I’ve never had a torch bearer sauce but I can tell you for sure that Tabasco scorpion is a very hot sauce and that Tabasco is a very consistent.

Tabasco Scorpion brings the whoop ass. Torchbearer Rapture definitely isn’t as hot. I have the Torchbearer Reaper that’s not the garlic one, it isn’t as hot as the Scorpion either it seems, but I haven’t tried the garlic one. But yea Tabasco Scorpion is alright when I’m getting tired of Dave’s Insanity and some Bhut Jolokia shit .

It lands differently, but the garlic reaper is hotter imo, once you get used to the scorpion it is pretty quickly not as hot anymore (still hot, but not extreme). I do recall thinking it was way hotter than advertised when I first got it. By the end of the bottle it was a lot easier and the next bottles were easier but ended up going pretty quick and I can’t get the nor al sized bottle easily.
If you want that vibe back after you get used to it the Scorpion Disco brings it at another level. Also highly recommended.

I find Tabasco scorpion to be pretty hot. I use it but not a huge fan because to me it’s just heat, not a lot of flavor.

Torchbearer sauces are really weak. They must use low-quality peppers because, per their ingredients list, their sauces should be way hotter.
It’s a bit hot for me. Tobasco Habanero hits the sweet spot.

I like the flavor of Garlic Reaper more than Rapture. And yes, the Tabasco Scorpion is hot af. Not quite Taco Vibes but definitely up there.
The scorpion is hot, no doubt about it. It’s kind of subjective so comparing is hard but the Tabasco is more of a pure sauce. Ingredients like oil, creaming agents, and citrus or acid can whisk capsicum away from your mouth faster and make the sauce seem less hot.
Yeah, I’ve made several comments about my similar observation. I am getting to the point where the scorpion has been my go to for long enough that I want to step up. After reading lots of recs I got the torchbearer garlic reaper and it tastes phenomenal but definitely isn’t as spicy to me. My solution has been to just use both on everything.
Tabasco Scorpion is incredibly hot. Much hotter than their Habanero sauce (my personal favourite). It took me a few months to get accustomed to the heat of it, before I could appreciate the flavor that it adds. Now I use it on a lot of my meals.
Garlic Reaper by Torchbearer is still my all time favorite sauce.
I bought a gallon of that hot sauce and even just using a miniscule amount causes my stomach discomfort. Really good hot sauce though and I just remembered that I probably can’t eat my lunch at work because I forgot to bring antacid.
I can’t prove it but I swear to god it’s hotter now.
I bought several 5oz bottles and emptied them and, at the time, I swear my recollection was that garlic reaper from torchbearer was hotter.
Month back I bought the big 60oz whatever one of Scorpion Pepper and another 5oz of torchbearer and I really don’t think they can compete on heat. The Scorpion Pepper makes my nose run which is pretty hard to do.
Scorpion pepper messes with me more than reaper. I never don’t get stomach cramps.
