I made the 2 day drive to fill my Dad's freezer with suppers. I thought this time, I would take photos and post a link to the recipe.
Huh … cant do link but here is the website

I did a double batch and packaged 14 meals. Some hints and cheats, because I'm here for a limited time; use frozen butternut squash, I use 2 750g bags of peeled and chopped squash, it saves time on peeling and chopping. I use frozen diced onion – a 1/2cup is a medium onion, a cup(8 oz) is a large onion. Use pre-minced garlic, available in jars. I use water and bouillon cube/powder for broth.
Cheers

Major respect 👏. Driving 2 days just to meal prep for your dad? That’s superhero-level love. 🦸♂ Honestly, forget Michelin stars—parents deserve their own category: Freezer Stars ⭐🍲.
Awesome! He sure is lucky to have ya!
But… squirrel soup?
I think this could work well with souped cubes too! That why u have individual portions
I love those things! 😀 My husband gave me shit for buying these since he thought it was a silly product. He’s since come around to them 🤣
I’ll also used them when portioning stuff to vacuum seal
that’s so sweet of you and the soup sounds yummy! i may have to try this recipe 👍
Love it. I do this for my almost 81 year old mom. I make an extra freezer meal every week then take them to her once a month. The portion size she eats means it is more than enough food for her for a month.
Where do u get the bag openers from? Pretty cool, I love soup & am ready to start making my own! Love this!
