Dude don’t check that. It’s going to get so fucked up. And it’ll likely be too heavy to check anyway. Just don’t. Take a kettle, grinder and a V60 and chill.
Edit* FWIW, I work for the airlines and I see first hand the damage that happens. If the airline does accept it, you’ll end up paying $200+ for overweight baggage fees. 50-70lbs is typically the limit before excess weight fees kick in.

Saving to the special folder to show to friends who think I’m the one with a serious espresso gear problem…

That’s pretty hardcore. How much does it weigh? My GS3 is around 90 lbs.

It’s going to get trashed in transit if you check it – they can’t transport a suitcase of clothes let alone a delicate coffee machine

Isn’t max weight per bag in oversized around 70lbs?

But where is the grinder?

Personally, when I travel, I buy a new Linea Mini and have it delivered directly to the airBNB, I just leave it behind when leaving.
It can be a bit expensive for short stays, but makes sense for anything over 3 days.
Confident-Substance
This makes me feel better. I have a custom flight case for my Linea Mini. But only because who I bought it from used it for events. I used it to transport it home and now it’s just a big item I store and roll around from place to place every now and again 😂
KeepingItOff
That case alone probably costs more than someone’s espresso machine. 😂
skinnergy
Why?
omarhani
What, you’re not building it into the back of your Ferrari?

LMAO outjerked again. Hope you bring your own roaster with you as well. pre-roasted coffee is for peasants.

Good luck, probably gonna need it

You’re going to leave that in an AirBNB?
decsis
Why not charter a private flight for your machine, then you might even be able to enjoy LMLM espresso during the flight. Still trying to figure out if this is a joke or real.

Bruhhh 😂

Lmao, as someone who ships this on the weekly for events, this is gona get beat up.
Expect it to arrive upside down. Hope you drained it properly.

What about the grinder btw? Is there a second suitcase?
Opening_Chance2731
Why must you check it in? Are you poor? The regulations are much lighter if you have a private jet. Poor people sicken me, you even had to cut into it yourself!

That custom case will look like NY trash can as soon as it leaves the OP sight at the airport.

Only noobs think they need Linea Minis to make great coffee.
