Classic Italian Bruschetta
Ingredients:
Ripe tomatoes
Fresh garlic
Fresh basil
Extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
Salt
Balsamic vinegrette/Balsamic reduction
Sourdough bread
Method:
Dice the tomatoes and add them to a mixing bowl.
Add minced garlic.
Cut fine fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl.
Topp with EVOO and sprinkle salt up to taste.
Toast the sourdaugh bread, cut into triangles and topp each toast with the tomato mix. Finish with balsamic vinegrette or balsamic reduction.
