   Just Google ‘Bleeding Calyx’. There are peppers selected for this trait. Admittedly, it’s pretty cool, and I have yet to have a pepper display this.

   Bubblegum peppers have this trait it’s super cool. These are ghost 7pot bubblegum.

   That’s cool, definitely uncommon genetics. Maybe an evolutionary trait to prevent unwanted insect or animal contact… no clue.
