if you’ve ever wanted to make something that used cream of mushroom cream of chicken or cream of celery soup and didn’t because you didn’t have it there then you need this recipe we’re going to start off by melting some butter now the base for these soups is pretty much the same for all three of them so for the mushroom soup we’re going to chop up some mushrooms and I’d recommend using white mushrooms but I only have brown so that’s what we’re going to use and you can also use canned mushrooms if you want to make cream of chicken soup you’re going to use cooked shredded chicken for the cream of celery just going to finally dice your celery once your butter is melted we’re going to add our mushrooms or chickens or celery we’re just going to stir that around a little make sure you keep this on medium low heat we’re going to add our seasonings I’m going to start with onion powder then I’m going to add a little bit of ground white pepper if you don’t have this you can just use black pepper we’re going to add a little bit of garlic powder and a little bit of salt just mix all of that together once that’s cooked for a little bit we’re going to add some corn starch to that just Stir It Around a little then we’re slowly going to stir in a mixture of sweet cream and water and sweet cream is just whipping cream I don’t know why I keep calling it sweet cream it’s what we call it when I was growing up just keep stirring that in and it’ll turn thick once you have all of your cream and water stirred in there you’re going to keep it on the heat and keep boiling it and it’ll turn nice and thick this is how thick it should be by the time you’re done and if you let this cool off it’ll thicken up even more and it tastes just like starbot with eight ingredients instead of of 14 and there’s no seed oil in it I am not a fan of seed oil I’m going to let this cool off and then show you guys what it looks like and I forgot to mention but one batch like this makes the same amount that’s in an actual 10.5 o can at the store this soup is completely cold now so I thought I’d show you how thick it gets it’s just like Starbucks same texture same taste everything just without out the toxic ingredients and you cannot seal this by canning it because it has cream in it but you can freeze it and it’ll be good in the fridge for up to a week I should probably taste this to make sure it’s good although I’m not very fond of condensed soup but let’s go I mean it just tastes like the starbot except a little better a little cleaner maybe it is good for what it is I’m just not that fond of it but I love using it in recipes I hope this recipe helps someone who is short on condensed soup at home the full measurements for this recipe are in my Amish cookbook under condensed cream of soup soup the reason I didn’t say cream of mushroom or something is because you can use this recipe for cream of mushroom cream of celery and cream of chicken soup any cream of condensed soup you want to make you can use this recipe and the cookbook is only available on my website social spy.com enjoy

I haven't had cream of mushroom soup for decades because of all the crap in the commercial stuff…this recipe is flavorful and healthy and the perfect substitute in recipes calling for cream of mushroom soup!   2. Nice. I avoid canned soup like the plague for the most part. Because I do not digest milk products very well, I make this with almond, cashew and/or soymilk (which I also make myself — though with the soy milk I used a soy powder).

  5. I’m late here but can anyone tell me what the issue with seed oils is? Or is it just personal preference?
