Today I’m making tender chicken marinated in yogurt, coated in golden breadcrumbs, and fried to crispy perfection.
The yogurt marinade makes the chicken super juicy and flavorful, while the crunchy breading adds that perfect bite.

I served it with a refreshing tomato–cucumber salad and a light yogurt dressing – the perfect balance for this crispy chicken!

Ingredients (2–3 servings)
For the chicken:
– 500 g chicken breast or thighs (sliced into fillets)
– 200 g plain yogurt (Greek or regular, min. 3.5% fat)
– 2 garlic cloves (grated)
– 1 tsp salt
– ½ tsp black pepper
– 1 tsp paprika
– ½ tsp curry or turmeric (optional)
– Juice of ½ lemon

For breading:
– 2 eggs
– Flour
– Breadcrumbs (add a little Parmesan for extra flavor)
– Oil for frying or baking

For the salad:
– 100 g cherry tomatoes
– ½ cucumber
– Fresh parsley

For the yogurt dressing:
– 150 g plain yogurt
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– Juice of ½ lemon
– Pinch of salt & pepper
– Fresh herbs (parsley, mint, or dill)

🔥 Method (short version):
1. Mix yogurt, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, curry, and lemon juice. Add chicken and marinate at least 1 hour (or overnight).
2. Shake off excess marinade, bread the chicken: flour → egg → breadcrumbs.
3. Fry until golden and crispy (or bake at 200 °C / 390 °F for ~20 min).
4. For salad: slice tomatoes + cucumber, toss with parsley and yogurt dressing.
5. Serve crispy chicken with the fresh salad – crunchy, creamy, and refreshing!
