We’re making a fresh tomato mozzarella capray salad. Taste of summer that burst in your mouth. Super simple. Let’s just start by slicing our heirloom tomatoes. I picked mine fresh from the garden that we have right outside here. I’m using this cute little chili board that I won as a gift for a secret Santa. I just thought it would look cute for presentation with this dish. You can present it however you like. Get fun and creative with it. Next, we’re going to slice our whole milk mozzarella. I get my mozzarell from our local grocery store right here at ShopRite. Once we’re done slicing, we’re going to go ahead and just sprinkle some salt, pepper, and fresh oregano on top. And then we’re going to use our basil as pretty garnish. I used my basil flowers, too, just because I didn’t want them to go to waste. Let’s make our balsamic drizzle. Going to add a cup of balsamic, oregano, pinch of salt, pinch of light brown sugar, and olive oil, honey. We’re going to mix it up, drizzle on top, and then serve. You can serve this with crustinis.
