Never seen this before but it looks delicious, cheap, and relatively easy to make. Got a recipe or link?

When I make this I also add in a finely diced onion and a bell pepper to the tomatoes!

I love doing this on a bed of spinach with a bunch of garlic cloves. The garlic is a bit hard to mash with a spoon though, so i usually fish the cloves out and mash it on a cutting board. Some tomato paste adds a bit of depth too!

You’re a few years too late for this trend – I always think it looks better than it tastes (only had it a couple or times though)

Adding lemon zest and juice really makes this recipe pop a lot more.

  6. Hiii so this is one of my favorite recipes, try adding some shallots and garlic and basil to it too! Its ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS

  7. I looove doing this with a Boursin cheese, makes it so much creamier

  8. Thisbymaster

I find it needs some Chard or frozen spinach to round it out.

i make this all the time! such a fun easy treat

Yeah I fuck with this one ever since it started popping up. I use boursin, smoked paprika, onions, and garlic.

  11. We do this frequently with Boursin cheese that we buy at Costco. Its got a smoother consistency than feta. Also toss in mushrooms and spinach for some more variety.

Honestly looks more like the starting point for a recipe. Tomatoes, feta, and oil? That’s it?!

Pretty boring, honestly. I bet it tastes like feta with a hint of tomato lol

  13. McSquiffy

This is one of my favorite recipes. I recommend using Meredith marinated cheese instead of feta, it’s milder and creamier, and the oil it’s marinated in is fantastic.

Always crumble up a block of feta in my spaghetti sauce. It’s never been too salty.

This recipe was pretty viral last year. I made it. It’s good. Definitely should make it again.

This is so delicious. I need to make this again…soon.

If you use a can of crushed seasoned tomatoes you can do this on the stovetop in the pot you cooked the pasta in and it’ll be a one pot meal. Works better with Boursin cheese than with feta but mixing the two also works well

I like to pulse with an immersion blender for this recipe.

  19. I’ve done this and have found a nicer-tasting, equally easy and quick version to be:

    – get pasta boiling
    – sauté garlic in a generous amount of oil in a pan
    – add a pint or more of cherry tomatoes, roll them around until they start to burst
    – when pasta is al dente, add it to the pan with some fresh basil leaves
    – splash in some pasta water
    – add a sane amount of feta

Takes the same amount of time as a pot of Kraft Dinner.

When there’s a nice sale, my husband makes this with salmon. Just throw it in with everything and it absorbs a lot of the salt so that it’s not overpowering. Maybe mix in some spinach too

One of the favs in our family. We use mezzi rigatoni.

  22. BiochemGuitarTurtle

I love making this but mine has a bunch of fresh chopped garlic.

It’s simple, easy and very tasty. If anyone is looking for a recipe, I modified the following to come up with my version.

My post was removed due to the link. Search “the country cook” and “feta tomato pasta” to find the recipe.

I love this one with lots of fresh spinach and sometimes broccoli too to punch up the veg quantity. Great with goat cheese too!

What kinda tomato’s do you use that makes bow tie pasta spontaneously appear when cooked all the way?

  25. darthanis

I’ve made this several times, basil, olive oil, cherry tomatoes, feta, salt, black pepper, oregano. Easy and great tasting.

My wife makes this. We use shrimp an add basil. It’s Fkn bomb.

I like to hit it with the handheld blender if I’m not feeling bigger tomato pieces
