Last week, the Globe reported that Bello Italia on Broadway in Bebington would be opening in place of the former Cow Shed Sports Bar & Grill.
The bar offered customers all-day breakfasts, grills, and live sports on big screens.
Last month, the business announced to its customers that it would be closing its doors for an “exciting new chapter” in the form of a new Italian restaurant which would offer new menu items including pizza, pasta, tapas, and grilled options.
The grand opening of Bello Italia was set to take place on Monday, September 8; however, restaurant owners took to social media on Sunday (August 31) to tell people there had been a change of plan due to “unforeseen delays”.
A statement from the restaurant read: “Dear customers, due to unforeseen delays, our grand opening has been rescheduled. We will now officially open our doors on September 16.
“We can’t wait to welcome you and share authentic Italian flavours with you very soon.
“Thank you for your patience and support – it will be worth the wait. Stay tuned for more updates, and we look forward to celebrating with you on the 16th.”
