Linguine with Clams Recipe 🧑🍳
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 15 min
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
1 lb. pasta linguine, pasta water 1/2 cup
18 clams
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
6 garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed pepper
5 teaspoons parsley
8 oz clam juice
1/2 cup of wine
2 fresh lemon (squeezed)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup parsley
Directions:
Boil linguine in water and save 1/2 cup.
Clean clams, rinse.
In a sauce pan, olive oil, garlic pieces, brown garlic, salt, garlic powder, pepper, red pepper, parsley and stir. Add clam juice, white wine, fresh lemon. Put in clams and cover and cook for 10-15 until clams open. Next add unsalted butter, pasta water, stir and remove all unopened clams. Drain pasta and put the linguine into a pasta dish. Pour clams and sauce onto pasta, squeeze lemon and garnish with parsley.
