Same here, I layed off spicy for a few weeks. After eating this, the mouth heat wasn’t too bad, but the guy pain was nearly intolerable! It felt like I was being stabbed in the gut, over and over.

I have an iron stomach and no fear of any hot sauce. I put Trinidad pepper seasoning powder on popcorn. I keep The One Flatline paste in my fridge to add extra heat to my hot sauces.

Ive eaten a fresh Carolina reaper and it wasn’t as bad as this fucking chip. Mouth heat on it wasn’t terrible. The reaper was worse. But 15 minutes after I ate the chip it felt like I had eaten 5lbs of razor blades that were slicing their way out of my stomach. Spent 20 minutes rolling around in my bathtub taking a cold shower while crying and throwing up. Ive eaten a lot of really hot stuff but nothing has ever affected my insides like that damn chip. Fuck that thing and whoever made it.

I bet her the Niners were going undefeated all year and if they lost at any point I would eat this blue chip of death. Well Needless to say they lost the next game to the god damn Cleveland Browns of all teams. She laughed I cried and died. Never again am I eating the 1 chip challenge. That was my 3rd time.

a 7-11 near me used to sell these chips but stopped selling after a few incidents including asking people if they where over 21 after someone started throwing up for about 20 mins who attempted this then stopped selling them all together

I ended up having to take my shirt off and lay on a cold attic floor during Christmas Eve…on top of the crazy heat and the normal mouth pain and digestive pain my back was aching…like my upper spine felt like it needed to be fixed by a chiropractor and a back surgeon. That’s the night I found out your immune system/central nervous system is largely is in your upper spine. It was so hot it literally was making my immune system feel attacked. Regret. 0/10.

Thought the mouth burning was going to be the worst part but, nah, it was the burning of my organs.
I’ve done a lot of drugs in my time. But only this chip got me to instantly take off all my clothes and wrathe on the floor for 2 hrs straight.
I went the the grocery store after I thought it was over. But in the store, something shifted and the gut punching restarted in my lower intestines. I couldn’t move. I fucking collapsed squatted close to the ground and pretended to look at stuff on the bottom shelf for 30 more minutes. I was so close to shitting molten lava in aisle 3.

Granted the chip is from 2022 and has been sitting in my garage since so maybe some of it lost the heat or something but I thought the heat and lasting effects were overblown personally. I have what I would describe, on a chill head scale of 1 to 10, with a 1 being someone who can’t even handle black pepper and a 10 being someone that’s just popping fresh reapers like candy, I’d probably be an 8. I’m eating incredibly hot sauce every day. I have no less than 20 hot sauces in my fridge at all times. I ruin my life for spice.
The one chip challenge is the worst thing I have done to myself in my life. Very rarely do you ever hear someone talk about the taste. It’s genuinely one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten. It takes a minute for it to reach its full potential spice wise, but it’s hard to eat from the jump because it’s repulsive.
The heat builds and builds and builds. If you’ve never done it but have watched people do it on social media, it’s not an act. It doesn’t seem that bad for 45 seconds. It seems pretty bad about 2 minutes in. 3 or 4 minutes in and it’s the likely the hottest thing 99.9% of people will ever touch to their tongue. It’s incredibly intense. If you watch a video and someone makes it 10 minutes without a drink, understand they went through agony.
Now this may have just been me, and this has literally never happened to me before. And I have dedicated my life to incredibly hot food. About 2 hours later, I felt like I was going to die. Such unreal gut pain, it can’t even be described. I could feel this poison traveling through my body. I had cold sweats. I was shaking. It was horrific. It did pass in 20 minutes or so. But it was a life changing 20 minutes.

I tried this chip a few years ago and my god was it terrible. The taste had a nasty metallic tang to it, like as if it was spawned from Satan’s arsehole, and I gobbled it down in one go to get it over with. I was writhing in pain for a good while and hours later after bowling with friends I threw up in the shopping mall parking lot. My friends were understandably worried and even considered driving me to the ER.
So yeah, never EVER try this. Discard that slight ounce of curiosity, it’s not worth it.
