100 g sugar
100 ml heavy cream

Crumble: Rub the flour with cold butter and mix in the brown sugar until you get a crumbly texture.

First Bake: Pour the cream over the base and bake at 170°C (340°F) for about 30–40 minutes, until the cream is almost set.

Second Bake: Remove from the oven, spoon the apple filling on top, sprinkle the crumble over it, and bake again at 170°C (340°F) for 20–30 minutes, until the apples are soft and the crumble is golden brown.

Caramel Sauce: Melt the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown. Slowly pour in the cream in small amounts, stirring constantly, until smooth and silky.

Cooling: Let it cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours, preferably overnight.
