Exact texture of prime rib. So juicy and flavorful, and less than $10 a person via Trader Joe’s. Bought a boneless leg of lamb for $18 and some change and have left overs in the fridge after dinner for me and my partner. It’s my new favorite thing

Thank you for your picture post to r/souvide. We want to remind everyone of Rule #5. Posts should be accompanied by something to foster discussion. A comment, a question, etc is encouraged.

If you’ve posted a picture of something you’ve prepared, please explain why in a comment so people can have some sort of conversation. Simply dropping a picture of food in the sub isn’t really fostering any discussion which is what we’re all aiming for.

Posts that are a picture with no discussion can and will be removed by the mods.

    Thank you!!

Looks great! I’ve got a bone-in leg’o’lamb in the freezer, might have to follow your lead and report back.

Please share the recipe for the sauce over the top. And is that in a bed of mashed, or something else?

I admit it looks great- however different meats have different safe internal cooked temperatures and whilst 133 may be fine for beef sadly it’s not actually food safe for lamb!
Be careful and check your minimum temperatures when experimenting.
