My kids love that place. I can’t eat it. My stomach runs off before I even leave the place. One time it made me throw up before I even left. They dropped in quality even more recently. It didn’t kill my stomach but the Alfredo pizza (the only one that tasted decent to me) tasted like straight up plastic. The cinnamon rolls somehow taste like slightly sweetened water. If I end up there the only thing I can stomach at this point is their pasta with both sauces mixed together in a prison toilet rosé sauce. Ask them for shredded cheese too. Their worst crime though is convincing my son that their Alfredo is good compared to my home made sauce he thinks is gross.

My friends and I used to hit Cici’s for cheap when we were broke in our late teens/ early 20s. The game was to see who had the most crusts on their plate when we were full. Many times, we each would eat over 30 slices. I feel like that was a great 7$ with a refillable drink investment.
I’m not sure I would visit now, but seeing this post brought back some great memories.

There’s a place about 40 minutes from me in a city called Roseville, called John’s incredible pizza, they do all kinds of weird all you can eat buffet style pizza. They have arcade games and even a couple rides inside. They do a macaroni and cheese pizza but it’s hella good and looks way better than this. I’d fuckin try some spaghetti pizza though

Nah they are cheap enough to get a pass especially since it is a buffet and you can see the food before you get it or order another pizza to be placed at teh buffet.
If they were normally takeout or delivery teh charge of pizza crime may be legit. CiCi’s has diplomatic immunity.

It’s been a long time, but the last time I went there, they have a pasta bar with a red sauce and a white sauce. So I made myself a little pasta and I put both sauces on it. I’m thinking, this tastes sweet. Turns out that bags of Icing and bags of Alfredo look the same.

I live in a city that has had numerous pizzerias featured on Food Nework, FoodTV, Eater, Slice, etc. & CiCi’s still keeps on thriving because not everyone wants a Confit Duck Pizza with caramelized onions, micro-greens and Bleu Cheese. Different strokes for different folks. Not guilty.
