I was at an event and we had this (what looks like) kielbasa sausage as the protein
It was very sweet and honey like. I have exhausted myself trying to google what type of kielbasa it was.
Does anyone know what type of kielbasa is sweet or what type or sausage this is? Or is this prepared with a sauce or rub to make it sweet?
Online searches for similar seems to be more of a hearty dish.
Thanks in advance

Eckrich??
summer sausage.
Looks like the sweet and oily sausage my mom buys in frozen packs at a chinese imports store.
Edit: Might not be this, the one im thinking of is called lap cheong, sweet and fatty pork sausage. Looks wrinkled when uncooked but then puffs up with all the fat.
linguica?
My guess would be regular kielbasa with some sweet sauce while cooking.
Perhaps Kielbasa
smoked sausages come in several flavors, it could be chicken apple. theres one with pineapple also. just look around when you make market
Polish?
To me it looks like smoked sausage or kielbasa which is very similar but more garlicky.
Looks like regular Polish sweet Kielbasa to me 🥰
Applewood smoked kielbasa is sweet!
pork keilbasssssa
Kielbasa sautéed in honey butter
Could have been kielbasa cooked in a sweet syrup
Edit- ooh you said breakfast though – Maybe maple glazed kielbasa?
Definitely looking like some pretty standard kielbasa, if they were making it for breakfast they might have put some maple syrup or something in the pan.
Looks like a liver combo. No fat.
Yeah I initially said that’s just “smoked sausage” cut on an angular bias, but then I re-read and if it’s flavored with sugars and garlic I think this would be considered a linguica (a delicious portuguese sausage, like “ling-weesa”). It’s sometimes orangish on the inside because they add paprika and usually something like cayenne. We love that stuff, when we can find it. They prefer it sliced down the middle and then cut into 1.5″ sections. On the casing side, I slice a shallow “X” on each of the pieces so they don’t curl as they cook. The sweet flavor versions of this are a staple in Hawaiian comfort food.
I’m relatively confident this is the kind of sausage that contains “beef and pork”
like- if you go to the store and buy the most processed smoked sausage they have- I think you will find what you are looking for.
I too have appreciated the flavor of this questionable creation and I’m sorry if this was not the answer you were hoping for 😅
Looks like podwawelska/krakowska though I don’t know what kind of name would be used outside of Poland for that
Filipino longganisa? Though I’d imagine they’d serve them whole as they’re cutely cocktail sized.
Definitely kielbasa
Smokie maybe
Could it be Hawaiian Portuguese sausage? It’s a specific style that’s generally sweeter than other types. Usually you would pan fry it, but this looks steamed or simply warmed.
Smoked
Possibly longaniza? Hard to know without tasting🤣
Kielbasa cut on the bias to look extra, extra fancy.
Looks like Portuguese sausage.
