Broccoli & Cheese Soup

Sabi nila, eat your veggies… pero syempre kailangan masarap kaya dinagdagan ko ng CHEESE! 😂 It’s all about balance, diba?
Tara, kain na tayo ng BROCCOLI & CHEESE SOUP! 🥦🧀 Perfect to ngayong maulan ang panahon.

P.S.
I made this soup chunky kasi mahilig ako sa chunky soups. Pero later, I used an immersion blender para i-breakdown sya into smaller pieces. MAs gusto ko pala sya ng mas maliliit na pieces yung brocolli.

BROCCOLI & CHEESE SOUP INGREDIENTS:
1 tbsp oil
250g bacon, cut into pieces
1 large white onion, chopped
5 cloves garlic, chopped finely
2 tbsp flour
1 360ml can evaporated milk
3 cups water
1 chicken cube
1 large head of broccoli, roughly chopped
1 carrot, shredded
2 cups cheese, shredded or grated
1/2 cup all-purpose cream (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
