St. George Orthodox Church 14th Annual Mediterranean Festival

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. — St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in New Hartford is hosting its 14th Annual Mediterranean Festival this weekend.

The fun started at noon on Saturday and featured plenty of authentic and delicious Lebanese and Greek foods. The festival also featured a wide variety of music, raffles, and craft vendors.

The family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

“Our parish has been here for more than a hundred years, but I still know people who don’t know who we are, or where we are,” says Father George Goodge. “We want to show them who we are, where we are, and what kind of people we are. The kind of people who like to give, to open our arms and say come visit us. Be with us, have our food.”

If you missed out on the festivities Saturday, you can try again on Sunday.

The festival begins at noon and runs until 5 p.m.
