After going back and forth for awhile, I decided to go ahead and get a VL machine to complement my OL machine. Went with the Blue Bottle edition because I’m a sucker for the all white.
I went for it because sometimes I just want a full cup of coffee and don’t want to do the whole French press process. Plus, I was running through the OL capsules pretty quickly.
Also place my second order through the Nespresso site and got this nice sampler pack. I already brewed the Stormio and enjoyed it.
On the fence on snagging an Aeroccino though due to mixed reviews. I’ve just been heating up my milk and using a frother. Any thoughts on if it’s worth it?

I am a big fan of the barista and do not understand why it doesn’t get more love. The stainless steel makes it easy to clean where the aeroccino nonstick peels off and milk would get stuck frequently after 1-2 years of use. (Hopefully it’s gotten better). I took a few years off of having 2 machines but went back because the OL has more options.

Begrudgingly bought an Aeroccino as demanded by my significant other and can confirm it collects dust. We microwave the milk then brew into milk. So much simpler and less clean up!
I use my Aeroccino every single day, the only thing you have to do is wash it daily by hand which honestly is easy for me with kids water bottles from school anyway. I love that you can do cold or warm which is perfect for iced drinks.

Unless your machine came with the Aeroccino, I would pass. I use mine because it came with the machine and I guess I want to break it with use. Feels wrong to let it sit unused. However, before I figured out how to use it correctly I was just microwaving milk and I almost prefer that method. Less cleaning.

Here I am thinking I was the only one with both lines haha! I too have a white vertuo plus and a special edition citiz. 🫶🙌 Yes i also have torani and the stainless steel frother, no worries. Only thing I’d consider from your station is a standalone. Mine is on my kitchen counter.
God I wish I had that much room in my house for my coffee setup.
